A Ford Super Duty build at Texas Motorworx takes the F-250 or F-350 — 2017–2022 or 2023+ generation — and reworks the suspension and chassis for the use case the factory truck doesn't quite serve: an unloaded daily that doesn't hammer over expansion joints, a tow rig that stays planted with a 30-foot trailer, or a ranch truck that runs unimproved roads at speed. We are an authorized Carli Suspension dealer — Carli's Pintop and Backcountry packages are the gold standard for Super Duty ride quality. Most Super Duty builds run $20K–$70K and complete in 6 to 12 weeks.

Use case audit

Daily unloaded, heavy tow, ranch/desert speed runs — three very different builds. We start by understanding which one is yours.

Pintop for trucks that tow heavy and want unloaded compliance. Backcountry for trucks that see real off-pavement use. Commuter for road-biased rigs.

Suspension install & alignment

Carli leaf, shocks, track bar, and the bolt-on package installed with new alignment from the ground up.

Steering, wheels, lighting

Cognito tie rods on any truck doing real off-pavement work. Wheels and tires, full lighting integration.

Most Super Duty builds at Texas Motorworx run 6 to 12 weeks. A Carli Pintop suspension install with wheels and lighting completes in 4 to 6 weeks. A full Backcountry build with bumpers, lighting, intake, and exhaust runs 10 to 12 weeks.
How much does a Super Duty build cost?
A custom Ford Super Duty build at TMX typically runs $20,000 to $70,000. A Carli Pintop installation with wheels and Baja Designs bumper lighting starts around $20K. A full Backcountry build with King rear bypasses, Cognito steering, ADD bumpers, and a complete diesel performance package runs $50K–$70K.
Will a Carli Pintop install affect my tow capacity?
No. Carli's Pintop package is specifically engineered to preserve factory tow ratings while dramatically improving unloaded ride quality. The progressive leaf rate keeps the truck planted with a heavy hitch and the upgraded shocks control rebound on rough surfaces.
Do you work on 17–22 and 23+ Super Duty?
Yes. We build both generations of the modern Super Duty platform — 2017–2022 (which most of our installs target today) and the new 2023+ truck. Carli, King, ICON Alloys, and Cognito all support both generations.
